Vercel ships Geist Serif, rounding out its Swiss-inspired font family
evilrabbit_ · x · 2026-10-31
Vercel has released Geist Serif. The Geist family started with a monospace variant prioritizing readability in coding environments, then expanded into Sans and Pixel versions; Serif completes the set. The design draws on the Swiss design movement's principles of simplicity, minimalism, and speed, targeting developers and designers, with Latin and Cyrillic support, full weight range, an interactive glyph inspector, and a font playground. The site also hides an easter egg: type "blueprint" and hit enter.
