Claude renames Max plans to Max and Ultra, drops 5-hour limit for Ultra

Anthropic is renaming its Claude plans: Max 5x becomes Max ($100/mo) and Max 20x becomes Ultra ($200/mo), with no action needed from subscribers. Verified Ultra accounts get the 5-hour session limit removed starting today, rolling out in stages; newer accounts keep a temporary limit until verified to prevent fraud. Weekly limits are unchanged.
