Claude controls a robot arm via MCP — open-source demo picks up and tosses a toy
funpicoprojects1 · reddit · 2026-10-31
A Reddit user hooked up MCP to a small open-source robot arm (picohive-robotarm) and found Claude could control it surprisingly well: given the prompt "pick up the object on your left, throw it to your right and say bye bye," the arm executed the full sequence. Code is open source on GitHub, showing LLM+MCP can drive physical hardware with no special training.
