Dev wires a Codex cron job to auto-upgrade plugins against fast-moving DeepSeek Harness releases
vista8 · x · 2026-10-31
Blogger vista8, frustrated by DeepSeek Harness (dsh) releasing updates too quickly, had Codex batch-upgrade all nine of his dsh plugins to the latest rc.5 channel, then set up a scheduled task that checks dsh daily at 10:00 Beijing time and auto-adapts, tests, and ships plugins when a new version lands — staying silent otherwise and only pinging on compatibility issues. Screenshots show the full run: Codex reconstructing the plugin inventory from memory, confirming channel versions, and passing build/package checks.
