ElevenLabs Recast swaps any character in your footage while everything else stays identical
mhdfaran · x · 2026-10-30
ElevenLabs' creative tool launched Recast: swap any character in existing footage with another while the rest of the video stays exactly the same — "almost scary," per the official demo. The poster jokes about turning it into a party game where everyone secretly recasts themselves and votes for the best one. Video character replacement is rapidly becoming a consumer-grade capability.
