Starlink helps rescue Swedish sailor stranded off South Africa's coast

A solo Swedish sailor whose 12-metre yacht suffered mechanical failure 8 nautical miles off St Lucia, South Africa, used Starlink to contact the Ocean Sailing Association of South Africa, which alerted NSRI rescuers. Their boat towed his yacht through strong south-westerly winds to safety in Richards Bay, escorted by two other yachts.
