Spool adds a shot-based timeline with version takes inside ComfyUI
Apprehensive-Ad7442 · reddit · 2026-10-30
Spool is a timeline that runs inside ComfyUI in its own tab: drop a workflow on it and it becomes a shot; generate a few takes, scrub through and pick one. Rejected takes stay with the shot so you can change your mind later, and a take can be dragged onto the timeline with another workflow run on top.
- Doesn't touch your existing workflows and adds no Spool nodes; renders on your local GPU or Comfy Cloud.
- Render the final cut or export to Resolve/Premiere to finish there.
- Open source: github.com/doubletwisted/ComfyUI-Spool.
