Solo dev ships remote MCP server to generate, extend and assemble AI video in Claude
Possible_Bug_4203 · reddit · 2026-10-31
A solo developer (software engineer in eCommerce/adTech) released Framevine, an AI video studio. He originally built it to chain AI generations into one long video, then exposed the whole pipeline as a remote MCP server so he could drive it conversationally from Claude: generating and extending clips and assembling them on a timeline.
He reports it was surprisingly useful in practice—a reference case for wiring video-generation pipelines into agent workflows via MCP.
