AI crawlers hit one press story 135 times in 2 days, plus 217 live fetches from chat assistants

Tracking bot traffic to one client's press coverage: in two days, AI training crawlers from Amazon, Meta, Anthropic and OpenAI fetched it 135 times (Amazonbot led with 60, Meta-ExternalAgent 42, ClaudeBot 19), while ChatGPT, Perplexity and other assistants made 217 live fetches to answer user questions (OAI-SearchBot 70, Meta-WebIndexer 60, PerplexityBot 33). Traditional SEO crawlers added another 278 crawls. Takeaway: PR coverage is how brands get into what AI learns from and cites — the new front of GEO/AEO.
