Mischief 1: video model born from real brain cells, cheapest image-to-video at 0.5¢/s

Alex Ksendzovsky's team introduced Mischief 1, a video model. The team says it has spent four years growing real brain cells on electrodes to study how they compute, and has now turned those findings into a usable video model.
Priced from 0.5¢ per second, Mischief 1 is claimed to be at least 5x faster than its base and the cheapest image-to-video model on fal and OpenRouter, with an AWS Marketplace listing coming soon. The team says biocompute is now "real and commercial" — and this is just the beginning.
