The author explains how he retuned his WhatsApp outreach agent from a one-promo-per-week dedupe to a 14-day invite cadence.
The rules it now runs on:
- One message with an event link or coupon per person per 14 days
- The count spans every DM lane, so two lanes can't each send one
- Replies, thank-yous, and logistics messages are exempt
- Before sending, it checks two records: its own send ledger and the WhatsApp message store
The core principle: a person's inbox is the unit, not the campaign.
