A developer released agentY, a free open-source AI agent that lives inside ComfyUI; the entire demo video was made without manually dropping a single node or shape. An update notes WorldLabs' new API now enables high-quality splats from single generated images.
Key capabilities:
- Runs on any LLM, including cheap ones like Qwen and DeepSeek, or fully local and free with Ollama or Strata
- Builds complex workflows it has never seen from what it finds on the web, and also uses the official ComfyUI template library
- Judges its own outputs against your brief and re-renders what misses
- MCP support with presets for Blender, Maya, Houdini, After Effects and more
- Builds motion graphics and edits video with remotion, editable inside ComfyUI
- Integrated image, video and 3D viewer, a tagging system for reusing assets, plus project and long-term memory
- Builds full agent image-generation pipelines with loops and pre-planned agent or human reviews inside ComfyUI
- Runs several agents in parallel, ships Slack integration, and is itself packaged as an MCP so Claude can orchestrate multiple agentY instances
MIT-licensed, Windows and Apple Silicon, with video tutorials.
