X adds image repost with auto-credit, crediting impressions to both accounts
mark_k · x · 2026-10-30
X now lets you long-press any image and select "Post Image" to repost with automatic credit to the original author, similar to the existing "Post Video" feature. Both the reposter and the original creator get full impressions credited to their accounts, and the author encourages using it instead of stealing images without credit.
