RTX 5080 Pulled from NVIDIA Marketplace; 24GB Variant Rumored for Early 2027

The RTX 5080 has been removed from NVIDIA's official marketplace amid rumors it will be discontinued alongside the RTX 5090. NVIDIA reportedly plans an RTX 5080 24GB in early 2027 as flagship until RTX Rubin arrives in 2028. Per Hardware Unboxed, it uses the same fully-utilized die, so the only real change is VRAM going from 16GB to 24GB — making it enticing for local AI users and likely to sell out fast.
