Upstash flips onboarding: your agent gets a free Redis DB before you sign up
stuffyokodraws · x · 2026-10-30
Upstash has reversed the usual SaaS onboarding flow: instead of signing up first, your AI agent gets a free Redis database and starts building immediately — you claim it within 3 days.
It works via a simple curl -X POST upstash.com/start-redis, no account required. The "agent builds, then you sign up" design treats AI agents as the first-class user, removing the account wall from automated workflows.
