OpenAI scraps Pro 200 limit cut and doubles usage limits across all Pro tiers
minchoi · x · 2026-10-30
OpenAI's Thibault Sottiaux announced that all usage limits for Pro 100/200/500 tiers and Business Premium are doubling, effective today. The previously planned 50% cut to Pro 200 limits is cancelled after user feedback—Work and Codex usage stays the same. Extended limits for dots continue, with dots usage still separate from default usage, and OpenAI promises better models and efficiency gains to keep raising effective usage.
