Elon Musk retweeted a mid-2000s photo of himself lunching with Google co-founder Larry Page, reviving the well-known story that Page once called him a "speciesist" over his concern for humanity's fate — a friction that partly motivated Musk to co-found OpenAI.
Musk added that civilization "would be winning wondrously" if we're exploring the galaxy with Von Neumann probes by 2100, and conceded Page has correctly predicted many things.
