Anthropic engineer shows agent engineering shifting from prompts to self-improving systems
goyalshaliniuk · x · 2026-10-30
An Anthropic engineer built a complete Claude Code system live from an empty terminal in 10 minutes, laying out the evolution of agent engineering: agents → self-improving loops → agentic graphs → self-improving systems.
She says 90% of Anthropic engineers already use self-improving loops, and the field is moving toward agentic graphs. The core shift: from writing better prompts to engineering systems that plan, execute, evaluate, and improve themselves.
