Per OpenAI Ireland's DSA Article 24(2) disclosure, ChatGPT search averaged about 185.6 million monthly active recipients in the EU for the six months ending September 30, 2026 — up from roughly 159.1 million for the period ending March 31, 2026, and 120.4 million a year earlier, implying 50%+ annual growth.
OpenAI notes the figure is calculated solely for DSA compliance and shouldn't be relied on for other purposes.
