The best enterprise architecture today is knowing when not to use an LLM
kashifmanzoor · x · 2026-10-30
The author argues the key question in today's enterprise architecture is "why does this need an LLM?" A rule engine, a simple SQL query, or a plain workflow is often enough for decisions and tasks. LLMs should be reserved for cases that genuinely need language understanding, interpretation, generation, or judgment — not bolted onto everything.
