Stanford releases RT-J, a System 1 model predicting structured data in one forward pass
jure · x · 2026-10-30
The Stanford Tabular and Relational (STAR) ecosystem introduced RT-J, a 'System 1' model for data science: put raw data in context and predict in a single forward pass—no feature engineering, no model training. The team released model weights, pretraining data and code, along with a NeurIPS paper.
