ilparone · x · 2026-10-29
The author revisits his 2015 TechCrunch idea of 'algorithmic angels' — personal algorithms on our side, under our control. In a new essay he argues that while algorithms have become far smarter, they still serve platforms rather than users. He asks whether we'd trust an AI agent with our lives, and points to the continued absence of personal, user-controlled AI.
