Snaptrude launches AI agent that takes building designs from site to construction-ready LOD 400 models

Building design startup Snaptrude launched Snaptrude Agent, pitched as the most advanced agent for architecture. It collaborates on real design work — from site analysis to a construction-ready LOD 400 model with structure, MEP and drawings — and exports back to existing software with users' families intact.
The founder says the company bet on AI a year ago, inspired by software engineering's shift from autocomplete to engineers directing coding agents. Most designers aren't short on skill but on time: when a client cuts the budget 30%, the designer directs where costs come out and the agent updates the layout and coordinates structure and MEP.
