A Reddit user reports Gemini showing 'The Pro version is in high demand right now. Another model was used for this response. This was not counted against your limit.' Google appears to substitute a downgraded model during peak load — paying Pro subscribers get a different model without opting in, raising capacity and transparency concerns.
