Dev reverse-engineers ComfyUI's cloud agent into a local open-source version
FishermanLive8958 · reddit · 2026-10-29
A Reddit user rebuilt ComfyUI's official cloud agent as a local, open-source ComfyUI Agent (GitHub: CrazyDashTool/ComfyUI-Agent), using the official site's implementation as reference after a previous attempt was lost to file corruption. It's positioned as a stopgap until ComfyUI ships an official local agent — which will likely consume credits — and lets you plug in your own API keys or local models. Streaming answers aren't supported yet; a video showcase is included and bug reports are welcome.
