Microsoft's BioEmu2 is out: predicting protein conformational ensembles
FrankNoeBerlin · x · 2026-10-29
Microsoft's BioEmu2 has been released. Researcher c01by published a blog walkthrough and plans to use it to evaluate AI-generated protein binders — checking how they interact over time by sampling conformational ensembles. The BioEmu line predicts conformation distributions straight from sequence, orders of magnitude faster than classical molecular dynamics, making it a flagship AI-for-Science tool.
