econoar · x · 2026-10-29
Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), parent of the NYSE, is partnering with Trade.xyz to bring perpetual futures products into US regulated markets, pending regulatory approval.
- The new market will be built on Hyperliquid's rails, with its own clearing, KYC and anti-money-laundering systems, offering perps tied to equities, equity indexes, commodities and currencies
- ICE is taking a stake in Trade.xyz as part of the agreement; terms undisclosed
- Hyperliquid has grown into one of the largest perp markets, and Trade.xyz extended its model to traditional assets like oil and stock indexes; both are also lobbying to open US pre-IPO perps
