Terraformer turns your city design into a dressed Unreal Engine 5 level using only open weights

Terraformer, the author's entry for the Open Source Higgsfield challenge, turns a city design into a dressed Unreal Engine 5 level using only open weights (FLUX.1-dev, TRELLIS, Qwen3-VL) and CC0 assets — no paid APIs.

Users pick from 20 layout presets and 8 terrain presets (or describe terrain in plain words), set rules for building types, density, streets, greenery and waterfront, and can edit the greybox in Blender with changes read back. The pipeline: Blender builds the greybox, renders depth/canny/ID passes per shot, ComfyUI (official SDK) turns them into FLUX concept frames, buildings become 3D via procedural Blender or TRELLIS image-to-3D with per-asset review, then one click places everything in Unreal with terrain, paving, vegetation, rocks and sea.

Built on Linux with two AMD R9700s (ROCm); Windows via WSL2 + NVIDIA in beta. MIT-licensed. Honest limits: heavy stack (Blender + Unreal + 32GB GPUs), though the greybox-only path skips model generation.
