OpenAI's next image model GPT-Image-2.6 spotted in API docs, rollout imminent

Leaker markk spotted "GPT-Image-2.6" in OpenAI's API documentation: the markup parameter docs state "Supports GPT Image 2.5 and 2.6." The parameter overlays a transparent PNG on the first image (via fileid, HTTPS URL, or base64), must match the image's dimensions, and cannot be combined with a mask.
The mention suggests GPT-Image-2.6 is already in internal docs and should roll out soon.
