company-brain: open-source knowledge graph that refuses to answer without a citation
JeremyCMorgan · x · 2026-10-29
Open-source GitHub project company-brain: an evidence-grounded knowledge graph over company documents built on FalkorDB + GraphRAG SDK + FastAPI + React. It answers questions like "what could break if we change X?" and refuses to answer unless it can cite the exact source sentence.
The design targets the most common failure mode of document-QA systems: producing fluent, plausible, unsupported paragraphs when the corpus has no answer. Every hop is graded as source-backed, inferred, or insufficient, and the LLM never writes Cypher directly — the author points readers to the schema and audit method.
