MCP servers with real shape-library access fix AI diagram generation

The author shares a pain point in MCP-driven diagram generation: most MCP integrations can't see your actual shape library and default to generic boxes, ruining BPMN events or AWS icons. Testing several MCP servers with built-in shape libraries on the same BPMN order-fulfillment flow, most still output generic rectangles — but Lucid's MCP server pulled the correct start events, task boxes, gateways and end events directly from the BPMN library.
