This creator spent 40 hours turning Claude into a video editor — and published the full free harness
aakashgupta · x · 2026-10-29
Aakash Gupta shares the complete workflow he built over 40+ hours for using Claude's 5.5 series models inside Claude Code as an automated short-video editor, releasing everything free: example prompts, 18 effect skills, 12 editing skills, and a full local harness — no paid APIs.
The loop is just 3 commands: supply an inspiration video, generate an initial edit plan (effects + cuts), execute and polish with /cut-check. Skills keep improving with each published video. He reports tens of thousands of views on Instagram and TikTok, platforms he hadn't posted on before, including his channel's second-best short ever.
