More Opus 5.5 prompting tips: hi-res images for charts, specific design constraints for sites
FinanceYF5 · x · 2026-10-29
Continuing a walkthrough of Anthropic's Claude Opus 5.5 prompting guide, tips 10 and 11:
- Give Claude tools to inspect complex visuals: feed high-resolution images for dense charts, diagrams, screenshots and technical drawings; for harder tasks, provide crop/zoom/detail tools using libraries like PIL or OpenCV to boost accuracy.
- Stop generating generic AI-looking websites: instead of vague asks like "make a beautiful website" or "avoid the AI look," give concrete constraints — e.g. no cream backgrounds, no italic headline decorations, no numbered section labels, no pill-shaped buttons. Specific constraints beat vague style instructions.
