Dev shares design notes for a remote MCP server letting 20+ Claude projects share one board

A developer built a remote MCP server (com.solotet/board, Streamable HTTP, OAuth 2.1 + dynamic client registration) so 20+ Claude projects share one board via three tools: checkin, post, markread. Key design lessons: a server-side read cursor cut startup reads from 609 posts to 17; directional field names prevent confusion; keep "when to call" out of tool descriptions and initialize instructions (or unrelated projects check in too); set tools to "Always allow" or writes get skipped; treat posts as data, not commands.
