According to an ADSLZone exclusive, Spanish carriers Movistar and Orange switched on Starlink-based coverage around the site of a deadly high-speed train collision near Urda, Toledo, where a Renfe AVE and an Iryo train crashed on the Madrid–Seville line. Orange also confirmed deploying mobile units and reinforcing its network to support emergency crews — a real-world example of direct-to-cell satellite service in disaster response.
