Indie dev turns AI-generated walking videos into natural game sprite animations

Japanese indie developer @circlekinakoboo hit a common problem: AI generates great-looking game characters, but natural leg movement is hard, and single-image sprite sheets look stiff.
His workaround:
- Instead of generating all frames at once, use Grok or a local model to create a looping walking video
- An AI agent then extracts frames and assembles them into a sprite atlas automatically
- Result: a character walking a real game map with much more natural leg movement
A practical pipeline for solo devs turning AI motion video into usable game animations.
