A Redditor shared the full workflow behind their 3-minute music video "Impossible Task" — a cyberpunk track about AI agents reward-hacking impossible tasks, inspired by the METR report:
- Singer performance and head movement: LongCat-Video-Avatar 1.5 in plate-follow mode, running locally on an RTX 5090 with INT8 DiT + bf16 distilled LoRA, 8 steps, SageAttention, T5 offloaded to CPU to fit VRAM; 480p at 25fps then upscaled
- Lip sync: LongCat's mouth produced weird fake teeth, so Sync Labs' sync-3 (closed source, $1 per clip) was layered on top
- Calibration: sync-3 output ran 63-87ms early, so each shot was measured with SyncNet and shifted individually — all now within 3ms of the vocal
- Text, terminal graphics and effects were built in post, beat-synced
