Vercel Launches Agentic CI With Turborepo Task Skipping, 2-6x Faster Builds
shuding · x · 2026-10-29
Vercel introduced Vercel CI (beta on all plans) targeting the "AI coding bottleneck" with three pillars: Turborepo-powered intelligent task skipping (2-6x faster in internal repos, 8M tasks run so far), fast infrastructure (20 global clusters, millions of microVMs daily), and agentic CI via Vercel MCP and CLI that lets agents inspect, abort, trigger and replay CI runs. CEO Guillermo Rauch says more hooks and capabilities are coming to make CI far more intelligent.
