Builder creates Learner: a quietly scheduled bot that distills preferences from a Grok bot fleet with one-tap approval
bfrench · x · 2026-10-29
The author runs many Grok Bots and found himself restating the same product decisions across chats—the human was the distillation layer. So he built Learner:
- Wakes on a quiet schedule and reads only new traces since the last pass;
- Scores short episode states with Jev (TypeSafe System One);
- Promotes high-confidence preferences to where they belong, asking for approval once instead of twelve times.
The core idea: offload repeatedly-stated preferences from human attention to a low-noise scheduled agent.
