Google expands AI Mode ads to 10 more countries and launches multiturn ads in the US

Google is expanding ads in AI Mode to Australia, Canada, India, Kenya, Malaysia, New Zealand, Nigeria, Pakistan, the Philippines and Singapore, with Brazil, Mexico and the UK coming in Q4. The company is also rolling out "multiturn ads" in the US so ads can appear in follow-up queries within AI Mode. Google claims click-through rates between sponsored and organic product listings in AI Mode are already similar. AI Mode ads first launched in May 2025.
