Google expands AI Mode ads to 10 more countries and rolls out multiturn ads in the US

Google is expanding ads in AI Mode to Australia, Canada, India, Kenya, Malaysia, New Zealand, Nigeria, Pakistan, the Philippines and Singapore, with Brazil, Mexico and the UK following in Q4.
The company is also launching "multiturn ads" in the US, showing ads in follow-up queries within AI Mode. Google claims click-through rates for sponsored vs. organic product listings in AI Mode are already similar. AI Mode ads first launched in May 2025; this is the largest expansion yet and a significant signal for search advertisers.
