Developer haltakov reported that updating two of his ChatGPT plugin extensions took only 1 hour to review — a process that used to take weeks. mxstbr, who works on the plugin platform, explained that only initial submissions carry extra review overhead (which the team is working to reduce); once a plugin is in the directory, updates are reviewed much faster, and MCP updates now roll out automatically. A tangible workflow improvement for plugin developers.
