Fireworks AI CEO Lin Qiao argues the next generation of AI leaders will win by building the best ensemble of models rather than picking a single one. The company launched the Specialized Intelligence Index (SII), aggregating practitioner-defined benchmarks so teams can compare models on domain-specific tasks across quality, cost and speed. It added 31 new partners, bringing the network to 46 contributors across 14 domains including cybersecurity, legal, finance, chip design, healthcare and marketing — with names like Harvey, Cresta, Zapier, Replit, exa and Genspark.
