Dev vibecodes a ComfyUI node that auto-archives and organizes all your generations
LaurentLaSalle · reddit · 2026-10-29
A developer who couldn't find the right tool vibecoded My Own Library, a ComfyUI custom node. It copies (or moves) generated images/videos/audio from ComfyUI's output directory into its own library, auto-detects related generations (same workflow, similar results) for grouping as versions, and supports renaming, categories, tags and notes on what worked.
It records which models were used, allows browsing/filtering by model and almost anything else. Safeguards: files aren't deleted from output dirs unless already added to the library, and duplicates are never copied twice. Install is a simple git clone into customnodes, no extra dependencies. The detail view can load the corresponding workflow or copy the prompt.
