Vercel announced that Agent sessions in the dashboard and Slack now cost 67% less on average, live immediately with no action required:
- Incremental context management: more efficient context handling as conversations grow, including long Slack threads
- Improved prompt caching: more reusable context preserved across turns for higher cache hits
- Workflow-based CLI skills: updated Vercel CLI skills give agents clearer guidance for common workflows and error recovery; other agents using these skills benefit too
- Leaner coding and planning: updated guidance helps the agent plan changes and write code with fewer tokens
Billing rates unchanged: model provider inference rates plus a $0.25 per million tokens Vercel Agent fee.
