Anthropic's IPO filing shows:
- $131.7B in cash and short-term investments — more than Amazon ($123B) or Microsoft ($76.8B); only Berkshire Hathaway and Alphabet hold more among non-bank US companies, and Anthropic's total exceeds Nvidia and Apple combined. Cash jumped from $17.4B at end-2025 to $112.4B by June 30.
- Interest income covers operating losses: $1.1B in first-half interest income vs a $693M operating loss.
- Massive compute commitments: undiscounted obligations for leases not yet started rose from $50.2B to $321.4B, plus $265.6B in fixed/minimum-guaranteed commitments; $245B more in minimum payments signed after June 30, with updated totals undisclosed. Leases start 2026–2028 and run up to 20 years, partially settleable via convertible notes.
