Hugging Face's Text Embeddings Inference passes 5,000 GitHub stars, multimodal support coming

The Hugging Face team announced that Text Embeddings Inference (TEI) has surpassed 5,000 GitHub stars. Upcoming updates include multimodal embeddings support, more architectures, and better performance thanks to tokenizers and candle. TEI is a high-performance serving tool for deploying text embedding models.
