JetBrains' Junie coding agent now runs fully local on Windows (out of preview) and NVIDIA RTX Spark hardware, reading code, editing files and running tests with no token bill. Machines with 24GB VRAM like RTX 3090/4090 suffice. Junie CLI supports 10+ models via BYOK, offers a plan-on-strong-model/implement-on-fast-model split, committable plan files in .junie/plans, live prompting, human-in-the-loop approvals, and async execution monitorable from your phone, integrated with GitHub and GitLab CI.
