India's Weather Agency (IMD) Website Likely Compromised During Cyclone Traffic Surge
kingslyj · x · 2026-10-28
The India Meteorological Department's mausam.imd.gov.in appears to be compromised, silently redirecting visitors to a suspicious page during a cyclone-driven traffic spike. The site runs on PHP with a .imd.gov.in DV certificate issued by eMudhra (valid Oct 2026–Jan 2027); Indian CERT and internet freedom orgs were notified.
