cellarmcp: a remote MCP server with OAuth 2.1 for managing your wine cellar
Emu-Outside · reddit · 2026-10-28
A developer shares cellarmcp, a production remote MCP server for managing a personal wine cellar from Claude or ChatGPT, with six tools including listwines, drinktoday, and addwine.
Built with Express + MongoDB + the official TypeScript SDK using stateless Streamable HTTP. Full OAuth 2.1: dynamic client registration, PKCE, refresh token rotation, RFC 8707 resource check, custom login page. Tools carry readOnlyHint/destructiveHint/idempotentHint annotations, and the user's storage scheme is embedded in tool descriptions so the model writes locations the user's way. Connector at cellarmcp.app/mcp.
